Creative Commons - Social Media Glossary

Creative Commons is a non-profit organization that releases copyright-licenses that allow an individual to use certain works legally.

One of the most popular collection of these works is the Creative Commons library on Flickr, in which photographers can denote which of their photos may be used by others in various degrees (for blogging, commercial use, etc).
