The Smart Planner News :: 200+ Subscribers!

Last week marked the 200th subscriber to the The Smart Planner!  A few have come on board since then and the number currently stands at 214.  When I started this site in February, I had no idea who, if anyone, would actually read it and I definitely did not think that over 200 people would sign up to read it consistently within the first six months!  So, thank you!!

I have some great things (well at least I think so) in the works for The Smart Planner and I'm excited to see how it grows.  I know that not everyone who subscribes or reads is a wedding planner, but the majority of you are and that is what the focus of the site is about, so I want to make sure that we are covering what you want to hear and learn about.  I'm a firm believer that several heads are better than one, and so I'm going to be having some other people guest blog and share their perspective so that you're not just getting my view all the time.

What areas of running a wedding planning business do you want to learn more about?  Do you have a strength in a particular skillset that you'd like to share with everyone?  Let me know by leaving a comment or by sending an email to thesmartplanner{at}gmail.com!

I would love to know more about breaking into other areas such as different cultures and different price brackets.

Do you earn this through expensive advertising?

I would love to hear about how others in the industry have balanced full-time jobs and their wedding business when first starting out. And also how they made the transition to running the business full-time.

Congrats Liene! I only hope that one day I can say I have 200+ subscribers, too! Blog-land loves you :)

Liene..

I'm very interested in how much work successful planners did beforehand to ensure their success. Did they spend a lot of time on the business aspect before advertising and jumping into the field? Did they notice that their preparation paid off in the long run?
