The entire piece is interesting, but the most fascinating part, and the the part I related to the most, was the last section, particularly this line: "When you think to yourself, “In 18 months I’m going to start my . . . company,” the problem with that sentence is the 18 months. What you’re really saying is, “I’m afraid.” Do it now."

What worked in bridal marketing just ten years ago is no longer effective because the way today's engaged couples think is actually different than couples of generations past. In

Great video & the content should be a wakeup call to anyone afraid of using social media to promote their business. Regardless of how I feel personally (I think its the biggest data mining effort since, well, ever) I sure can't ignore it!
well, sh*t, I guess I HAVE to Twitter now. I've been putting it of for a while, but this video clinched it. I'm sending it to my dad who is a marketing professor and am demanding that he show it to his students.
Awesome video! People need to pay attention to this shift.
