Does the fact that this niche hasn't hit saturation point yet mean your blog will automatically get read? Not at all. What are you doing to make your blog stand out?
Here are three tried and true methods to help you do just that:
1. Have an informed opinion and share it. There's no room for Switzerland in the blog world.
2. Help people be better in some way. Show them how to have a better wedding, get along with their mother-in-law better, feel more photogenic for their wedding photos, etc.
3. Stop talking about your products or services all the time. Paradoxical, yes, but you'll sell more when you talk about yourself less.

wow...talking about hitting the nail on the head. seriously, every post you write is a gem. Now if only I had someone to share them with...lol. I blog about a niche topic, for a niche market, so there's few voices in my area.
I think I have number 2 and 3 going pretty well, since I'm trying to build my blog on treating brides like more than just receptacles for advertising. I'm afraid to go too far on number 1 because I don't want to lose readers cause they hate my opinion.
Asiya, you may lose some readers because they hate your opinion, but you'll gain a lot more who agree with you. Think about it - are you passionate about any neutral or unopinionated companies? Probably not.
You're so right. I have a few of your advice posts tacked to my bulletin here at work. :) I love your insightfulness. It's truly inspirational.
Our goal for 2011 is to make brides more of a targeted audience while keeping what we offer them local and informative. Keep up the great work Liene.
Short, sweet and totally on the money. Less me and more Ideal Bride will get more weddings every time.
If we give our blog visitors what they want, we simply can't go wrong.
Great advice!
Now, what I need to know, is how to DRAW (or attract) more people to my blog ... The people who read it, LOVE IT - I just need to get more people aware of it!
