Here's a productivity trick I learned a long time ago: turn your goals into if/then statements.
For example, if you have a business goal of blogging three times a week, then your if/then statement might look like this: if it is Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, then I will publish a blog post.
Or, if you want to drink more water, it might be: if it is 8 am, then I will fill a pitcher with water and put it on my desk.
"I want to blog three times a week" and "I want to drink more water" are noble goals, but it's easy for them to get knocked to the bottom of the to-do list because they're generic. Rewording these goals in an if/then statement allows your subconscious to prioritize them and find ways to remind you automatically that they need to be done.
Turning your goals into if/then statements is a ridiculously simple brain hack, but it works.
