In 2007, the millennial generation (born 1979-2000) became the majority wedding consumer. In 2011, they accounted for 83% of wedding clients worldwide. While it may be tempting to believe that this generation is more of the same, nothing could be further from the truth. As one colleague put it, "I only missed it by two years demographically, but by a mile in all other ways."
