The Magic of Your Art

I once purchased two small pieces of art on the same day. I received a followup email from each artist. One treated me like I was just another transaction, little more than a check mark on their to-do list. The other treated me with warmth and kindness. While I love both pieces, the former experience left me disappointed, while the latter made me want to support that artist again.

When it comes to what you do, the entire experience matters. The magic of your art does not exist solely in the piece of art itself.
