Last year, Brides Magazine teamed up with Randi Zuckerberg to produce the Brides Live Wedding, which is airing live this Sunday, April 7th at 4 pm Pacific/7 pm Eastern on Facebook. Yep, Facebook.
One lucky couple -- Briana and Jason -- won the opportunity to have Brides throw their wedding, but it came with a twist: everything about the wedding would be crowdsourced via Facebook users and the ceremony on Sunday will be live-streamed from the St. Regis Monarch Bay via the site. Everything from the flowers to the bride's makeup style to the cake (created by none other than Buddy Valastro from Cake Boss) was voted on via the social network's fans. In addition, Brides will make a donation to the charity of the couple's choice.
The talented Xochitl and Mayra of AaB Creates were brought on board as the event designers and if Xochitl's Twitter and Instagram sneak peeks from this week's prep are any indication, the wedding is sure to be beautiful. Nuage Designs is providing the linens, all the rental and event furniture you'll see is from Luxe Event Rentals and Classic Party Rentals, the California Seashell Company provided all of the shells used in the decor and Laura Hooper designed a custom map for the event as well as menu cards and escort cards and JP Reynolds via the Bridal Bar is officiating.
After the wedding, Briana and Jason will set off on an all expense paid Caribbean honeymoon to the Cayman Islands.
You can watch the wedding on Sunday by visiting the Brides Live Wedding Facebook page.
