If making other people feel important is the most critical part of branding (and it is), then assume intelligence on the part of your potential clients.
Yes, you know something they don't. Yes, you have something they need. Treating them like they're dumb or not as smart as you simply because they don't have those things is a surefire way to get them to take their money elsewhere.
