Tried and Failed vs Tried and True

Almost everyone will admit that as circumstances and markets change, what used to work may not necessarily work now. 

The flip side of this, and one that many are loathe to wrap their minds around, is that something that failed before may very well work now. 

As things change, what was once "tried and failed" — a different process, service offering, price point — may turn out to now be "tried and true" if you're willing to take that risk.
