Lucky You

Monday, November 30, 2015

Being in the right place at the right time is often chalked up to luck.

Luck is created by hours, days and years of preparation behind the scenes.

Luck is created by being a voracious learner and strategically setting aside time to read and think.

Luck is created by being a true optimist so that a person can see opportunities where others with a cloudier view may only see dead ends.

Luck is created by hearing 'no' more often than hearing 'yes' and pressing on regardless.

Luck is created by doing the unglamorous tasks, day in and day out.

Luck is created by working both smarter and harder.

Luck is created by leaving room for the miracle.

Luck is created by recognizing that doors don’t open automatically for anybody, but are opened only after working for a key.

The people who are consistently “lucky” know that it really isn’t luck at all.
