On Legacy

"I know what I'm supposed to do, I just don't do it."

The cumulative effect of choosing to skip doing the good in favor of the status quo is just as dangerous, if not more so, than intentionally doing something that is obviously harmful.

Further, choosing to avoid doing the good today doesn't just affect you later on in life, it creates a burden that your family often has to shoulder.

Our choices — about our businesses, our relationships, our health — are never solely about ourselves. Choosing to do the hard yet good things rather than choosing more comfortable options is directly connected to the legacy we end up leaving.
